Can I call a few days ahead for a make-up lesson?
Due to our open enrollment, we don’t allow for advance scheduling of make-up lessons. Simply put, our availability changes frequently due to open enrollment, so to give you the most accurate openings, calling the day of works the best.
How do I cancel a membership?
-Cancellation has never been easier. Sign in to your parent portal and under “Enrollments” you will be able to “Drop Enrollment”. We require 30 days notice from the date you submit your drop request.

-If canceling mid-month, the system will automatically pro-rate your monthly tuition to reflect the lessons attended until your drop date (30 days after your date of submission).
How does the membership work?
-Our membership is built on 47 weeks annually. This means throughout the year, we will have some pre-planned closures. We work hard to create a family friendly calendar that will work for families and our amazing staff. We average 4 lessons a month. Some months will have 3, 4, or 5 lessons in them and yet the fee stays the same. Our schedule compensates the fluctuations by applying the 5th lesson to a month that had only 3 lessons which averages to 4 lessons a month. This method will make itself up over time, NO MATTER WHEN YOU REGISTERED IN THAT YEAR.
Do we get a make-up for a preplanned closure?
Your membership is calculated by the annual amount of classes a year, then decided into 12 equal payments. With this, we have already factored out the 5 weeks of closures from your monthly payments. Therefore, we don’t offer make up lessons for our pre-planned closures.
When is my monthly membership payment due?
-Our system conveniently auto-charges on the 1st of every month to the payment method you leave on file during registration. This allows for memberships to be auto-renewed so families have peace of mind of watching their swimmer progress month to month and not having to worry about missing a due date.
How will I know when my student is ready to move up to the next level?
Our staff complete evaluations every time your swimmer comes to class. You are able to keep up with their progress though your parent portal under “Evaluations”. Your student will earn stars when mastering skills required by the curriculum. Once your student masters all the skills required, a congratulatory email will be sent and your student will receive a ribbon from one of our Deck Supervisors.
Can family members come watch my student?
Absolutely! We love the support of family members. Our lobby is on a first come, first serve basis with seating. All extended guests must also abide by the Michael Phelps Swimming rules outlined in the terms and conditions of the account holder.
What are your COVID policies?
We follow our guidance from the local and state health departments. Please check the local guidelines, or give us a call.

-Staff/Facility guidelines: We require our staff to wear a face shield while in the water with our swimmers. We keep our class sizes relatively small which helps minimize exposure risks. We have our HVAC filters upgraded to the highest quality standards and have increased the frequency of replacing the filters to provide the cleanest air quality. Lastly, our facility is deep cleaned and sanitized daily from top to bottom.
Is food allowed in the facility?
We do allow some small snacks, but we would greatly appreciate your help in limiting them to the lobby area only. Please help us in keeping our facility as neat and clean as possible.

We have worked hard to create an annual schedule that works best for our amazing families and our outstanding staff! Breaks allow us to do important cleaning of the pool and facility (draining the pool takes several days to empty and fill).

As a reminder, our membership is built on 47 class a year; therefore we are committed to providing 47 Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, etc.

When we calculate the amount of our membership, we first tally up the total of 47 classes then divide the amount into 12 equal payments. We do recognize that some months have 3, 4, 5 lessons yet the fee is still the same. In the case of a month that has 3 lessons, we will take the “5th” lesson in a month (coming up) and “apply it” to a month that had only 3 lessons. We base our monthly lessons on an AVERAGE pf 4
lessons per month.

At the end of the day, every membership has the same amount of classes annually no matter when your sign up.

Thank you for your patronage, and for being a member of the MPS family!
