Michael Phelps Swimming is a learn-to-swim program for all ages and abilities. Swim classes include personal safety, stroke development, water sports and games, personal growth, and rescue skills. Our top priority is to ensure that each student has an opportunity to become comfortable, confident and safe in and around the water.

At Michael Phelps Swimming, our swim school is the perfect place to help your child find a love for swimming. Our highly-trained instructors can provide the basics all while teaching the fundamentals of personal safety, stroke development, and more. For help in determining which Group Level to register your child in, please review our class descriptions. Contact us if you need additional assistance in selecting the correct level or if you'd like to learn more about our group or private swim lessons. All students are evaluated at their first class as well. Our swimming lessons begin immediately upon registering. We're proud to teach students throughout Buffalo, Lancaster, Williamsville, Clarence, Amherst, Kenmore, NY, and the surrounding WNY communities.

Our new center features a WARM water teaching pool that is kept at temperatures between 88 and 90 degrees! Spectators have the luxury of observing classes from the climate-controlled lobby observation area rather than the pool deck. There are two locker rooms with private changing and shower stalls, as well as a new Family Changing Room with larger, fully private changing stalls that are each equipped with Baby Changing Stations.
